The US military conducted 2 more airstrikes in Somalia on Wednesday and Thursday. The first strike took place near Gandarshe, Lower Shebelle Region, killing 11 al Shabaab militants and the 2nd was near Bariire, Lower Shebelle Region, killing 7 militants according to @USAfricaCommand

Govt forces in Bur Hakaba town tonight repulsed an attack by small number of Shabaab attackers on motorcycles. Nine militants were involved in the attack. Few minutes after the attack, soldiers on patrol clashed with the same militants, a soldier was slightly wounded, per sources
Two people were killed and five wounded on Tuesday when a car packed with explosives was detonated near the ministry of petroleum in Mogadishu. The vehicle was parked at a petrol station in front of the ministry's offices in Mogadishu when it was detonated.
